The Electric Company acquires global inventory of CAKE electric motorcycle parts
Stockholm - 16 August 2024
The Electric Company AB is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the global stockpile of spare parts for the CAKE electric mobility brand, including models such as Makka, Ösa, and Kalk. This strategic move ensures the continued support and service for the over 6,000 CAKE vehicles currently in use around the world.
Following the bankruptcy of CAKE earlier in 2024, cakeservice.co was established by Sebastian Vocanac and Stefan Backlund as a dedicated platform to ensure CAKE vehicles remain operational and in peak condition for many years to come.
“Our warehouse in Sweden is now home to over 200,000 parts, ready to service CAKE owners globally. We are committed to sourcing new parts and collaborating with global retail partners to support the sale of CAKE motorcycles and mopeds.”
The team at cakeservice.co is dedicated to providing CAKE electric motorcycle riders with original and premium spare parts, backed by unmatched expertise. “We are here to ensure that every ride is exceptional—now and in the future,” Backlund and Vocanac emphasised.
The company is currently building a solid and long term foundation by interacting with all key major stakeholders in the business such as suppliers, retailers and the new management at CAKE as well as all CAKE owners.
The full product catalogue will be available for sale on cakeservice.co in the beginning of September.
Both Sebastian and Stefan are passionate CAKE riders. Sebastian Vocanac has a long history in the EV space and is heading the company’s technical arm. Stefan Backlund has a marketing background in high profile tech at companies such as Klarna, Trustly and Lurkit.
