Electric Friday – Campaign Terms and Conditions (Consumer)
1. Organizer
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Electric Friday campaign (the “Campaign”) run by The Electric Company Europe AB, 559489-9444 with registered address Karlbergsvägen 72a, 11335 Stockholm (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By placing an order during the Campaign, you agree to these Terms in addition to our general terms of sale.
2. Campaign period
2.1. The Campaign is valid on 28 November 2025 only (“Campaign Period”).
2.2. The Campaign applies worldwide. An order is considered to be placed within the Campaign Period if the timestamp in our order system for your purchase falls between 00:00 and 23:59 on 28 November 2025 in your local time zone.
2.3. We are not responsible for delays caused by technical issues, slow internet connections or payment provider problems that cause the order to be registered outside the Campaign Period.
3. Scope of the offer
3.1. The Campaign discount applies to all products site-wide available for sale on www.cakeservice.co during the Campaign Period, unless a product is clearly marked as excluded (for example, where required by law or due to third‑party restrictions).
3.2. Shipping, customs duties, import taxes, payment fees and other charges are not discounted and will be charged at the normal applicable rates.
3.3. The discount:

Is automatically applied at checkout via the campaign code ELECTRIC2525

Applies on top of the current sales price as displayed on the product page, and
-
Cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or similar.
3.4. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Campaign cannot be combined with other discount codes, vouchers, loyalty rewards or promotions.
3.5. All offers are subject to stock availability. Products may sell out and availability may differ between markets.
4. Prices, taxes and currencies
4.1. Prices are shown in the currency available on www.cakeservice.co for your market and include VAT/sales tax where applicable.
4.2. For customers outside the EU/EEA, additional duties, taxes or charges may be collected by customs or the carrier. These are not covered by the Campaign and remain your responsibility.
4.3. Displayed campaign prices
During the Electric Friday campaign, a 25 % discount is applied automatically in checkout to eligible products. The discount is calculated based on the prices displayed on the website before checkout.
No individual product “previous prices” or “savings” are displayed in connection with the campaign, and no comparison to prior prices is made. The prices shown on product pages are the current selling prices at the time of purchase.
5. Right of withdrawal and returns (non-defective products)
5.1. If you change your mind, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day after you receive your order, in accordance with Swedish and EU consumer law.
5.2. Discounted products are fully eligible for withdrawal and return on the same terms as non-discounted products.
5.3. If you withdraw from your purchase:

We will refund the price you paid for the product(s), including VAT.

We will not refund the original delivery cost. Delivery charges are non-refundable once the order has been shipped.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We do not offer free returns, and we do not reimburse return shipping or related costs (such as customs duties or courier fees) in case of a voluntary return.
5.4. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the goods or acceptable proof of return, using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
5.5. You are responsible for any reduction in value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and function. If that occurs, we may make a corresponding deduction from your refund.
5.6. To withdraw from your purchase, you must notify us within the 14-day period by sending a clear statement to hello@cakeservice.co.
5.7. You must send back the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you informed us of your decision to withdraw.
6. Complaints and defective products
6.1. If a product is defective, damaged, or not as described, you have the right to make a complaint under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen). The right to complain applies for up to three years from the date you received the goods.
6.2. If we confirm that a product is defective or incorrect, we will, in accordance with the law:

Repair or replace the product within a reasonable time, or—if neither is possible—refund the full purchase price;

Refund the original delivery cost in full, regardless of which shipping option you selected; and
-
Reimburse the direct return shipping cost if we have requested that the item be returned to us for inspection or replacement.
6.3. To make a complaint, please contact hello@cakeservice.co as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the defect. Include your order number, photos if relevant, and a short description of the issue. We will confirm receipt and provide instructions for the return or other remedy.
6.4. If a return is required, please follow the instructions provided by us. Returns sent without prior approval may not be eligible for reimbursement of return postage.
7. Unclaimed products / uncollected parcels
7.1. If a shipment is sent to a pickup point or service point and you do not collect the parcel within the carrier’s collection period, the parcel will normally be returned to us.
7.2. In that case:

The purchase is treated as cancelled, and
-
You are still entitled to a refund of the product price you paid (subject to any lawful deductions as described below).
7.3. We reserve the right to charge a fee of EUR 15 (or equivalent in local currency) for unclaimed parcels, to cover our actual costs for return shipping and handling. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount. The fee will not exceed our reasonable, documented costs associated with the unclaimed parcel, in line with Swedish consumer law and guidance.
7.4. If the return costs for your specific order are lower than the flat fee, we may reduce the fee accordingly. If the carrier discards the parcel instead of returning it to us, we will assess the case in accordance with applicable law and our contractual arrangements with the carrier.
8. Misuse, errors and limitations
8.1. We may cancel an order, or part of an order, if:

There is an obvious pricing or product information error,

We reasonably suspect fraud or abuse of the Campaign (for example, bulk purchasing for resale, use of bots), or
-
The product is unavailable or cannot be delivered as promised for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
8.2. If we cancel an order that you have already paid for, we will refund the relevant amount paid as soon as reasonably possible and in accordance with applicable law.
9. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law.
Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by the competent courts of Sweden, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
9.3. If there is any conflict between these Terms and mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be derogated from by agreement, the mandatory rules shall prevail.
10. Dispute resolution
10.1. If you have a complaint, please contact hello@cakeservice.co first so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
10.2. If we are unable to resolve a dispute, you may contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) in Sweden or another recognized alternative dispute resolution body. You can also seek advice from your local consumer authority.
10.3. Disputes arising from these Terms shall, subject to mandatory consumer protection law, be resolved by the competent Swedish court.
