Terms of Purchase

At Cake Service, we strive to provide high-quality service to our customers, and therefore we operate according to the following terms of purchase. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Prices
All prices are in SEK, including VAT. The applicable price is the one listed on the day the customer places their order. Any shipping costs are disclosed before the customer confirms the purchase.

Ordering
All orders are placed through this online store. We do not accept orders via telephone, fax, or regular email. Some products have a minimum order quantity. The store processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act (PUL).

Payment
At www.cakeservice.co, you can choose from several payment methods. Select the method and delivery option that suits you best when you reach the checkout before confirming your purchase. Minors (under 18 years of age) are not allowed to make purchases without parental consent.

  • Credit Card Payment: We accept the most common credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard/Eurocard, and American Express. Credit card payments are made over a secure connection with SSL encryption.
  • Invoice: Payment by invoice is available through Klarna. The options are displayed at checkout and are offered by Klarna.

Delivery against invoice can only be made to the purchaser's registered address. In the event of late payment, a reminder fee of the amount permitted by law (currently 50 SEK) will be charged, along with late payment interest of 2% per month plus the applicable reference rate.

Complaints
If an item is incorrect, defective, or incorrectly dispatched, please contact us at hello@cakeservice.co for further instructions.

Incorrect or damaged items must be reported within 5 days. When returning a defective or damaged item, the store covers the shipping cost and any replacement delivery. The item must be returned well-packaged and in its original packaging, along with a description of the defect. If the item is damaged or lost during the return process, you are responsible for the cost.

Right of Withdrawal
In addition to the rules under the Distance Selling Act, the store allows you to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, without providing any reason. The item must be returned in unused condition and in its original packaging. Please contact us at hello@cakeservice.co for further instructions. The purchase amount will be fully refunded no later than 30 days after we have received the item. You, as the customer, are responsible for the return shipping cost. Returns cannot be made as cash on delivery or with payment on delivery.

Force Majeure
The store is exempt from liability for failure to fulfill certain obligations under this agreement if the failure is due to extenuating circumstances as outlined below, and if such circumstances complicate, prevent, or delay the fulfillment of the obligation.

Examples of extenuating circumstances include, but are not limited to, governmental actions or omissions, newly enacted or amended legislation, labor market conflicts, blockades, strikes, fires, floods, sabotage, or significant accidents. Force majeure also includes government decisions that negatively affect the market and products, such as restrictions, warnings, sales bans, etc.
