General Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all orders placed through Cakeservice.co's online shop at www.cakeservice.co, covering all purchase agreements made by a consumer with Cakeservice.co (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY AB). We encourage you to read these terms in full before placing an order.

These terms may be updated or vary, along with other laws and regulations. Therefore, we ask you to review the terms before each order you place on our website. A binding purchase agreement is formed as soon as your order has been confirmed by us and an order confirmation has been sent from Cakeservice.co to the email address you provided. If an item runs out of stock before the status is correctly updated on the website, Cakeservice.co will notify you via email or the phone number you provided. We may then suggest an alternative item or cancel the order in question.

If incorrect price information has been displayed on the website, you will be offered the option to either purchase the item at the correct price or cancel the order. Cakeservice.co (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY AB) reserves the right to decline a purchase agreement if fraud or actions resembling fraud, such as the illegal use of another person's credit card, are suspected.

To place an order in the online shop, you must be at least 18 years old and not under guardianship. Cakeservice.co (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY AB) assumes that minors making purchases on www.cakeservice.co provide truthful information about their age and/or have the necessary consent from their guardian to purchase the item(s). If not, the buyer may be held responsible for any costs associated with an invalid agreement.

Prices

All charges in the online shop are in Swedish kronor (SEK). Current prices may change at any time. Should technical issues arise and incorrect information is provided, Cakeservice.co (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY AB) is not responsible for or bound by these price indications.

Shipping costs will be calculated and added to your order at checkout. Prices for each item are displayed in the online shop. Prices include Swedish VAT at 25%. Cakeservice.co (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY AB) is not responsible for any additional charges that may occur with deliveries or unclaimed packages (see more about unclaimed packages).

Payment and Security

Payment can be made by credit card, Klarna, PayPal, or as otherwise directed in the online shop. If payment requires validation and/or authorization from a card issuer, bank, or credit validation, each order confirmation is subject to such validation or authorization.

We work with an authorized payment service provider, who processes your personal data in accordance with the international security standard PSD2, a payment services directive applicable in all countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK. PSD2 has strict security requirements for electronic payments to reduce the risk of fraud. You will be PSD2-protected if you use Shopify Payments through our integrated 3D Secure checkout. All transactions will be encrypted, and all card details and payment information will be protected and processed with a high level of security. 3D Secure is an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions and is compatible with PSD2.

When you pay for your order, the amount will be charged or reserved on your card when the order is completed; this reservation may vary between different banks. Cakeservice.co (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY AB) reserves the right to verify the cardholder's address, the validity of the card, and whether your account has the capacity to be charged the full amount. Cakeservice.co (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY AB) reserves the right to decline a purchase.

Delivery

We want you to receive your purchased items as soon as possible, which is why we only use the most efficient carriers (DHL/Postnord/Schenker). The shipping cost is calculated and displayed before you complete your order.

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days from the order confirmation and can be expected to be delivered within 3-5 business days within Sweden. Delivery times are estimates and apply only if the product is in stock and not during peak seasons (e.g., holidays or the summer period). If a delivered package is not picked up, we reserve the right to charge you a fee equivalent to the shipping cost for the return, covering the entire cost of shipping and handling.

Unclaimed Packages

Unclaimed packages are generally not covered by the right of return. The fee corresponds to the actual costs of return, administration, and handling. Payment terms are 30 days. In the event of late payment, a reminder fee of 60 SEK will be charged, as well as late payment fees and, if applicable, collection costs.

If you change your mind after the package has been shipped, you need to collect the package from your service center and return it to us with the customer return, or contact us and inform us that you cannot collect the package.

Shipping Damages or Defective Items

If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact Cakeservice.co directly. If you receive an item that has been damaged during shipping, please contact the shipping company first, and then contact Cakeservice.co at hello@cakeservice.co.

If you notice anything that you believe to be a defect or manufacturing error with your item, please contact Cakeservice.co within 7 days. Cakeservice.co will cover the shipping cost, and we will do our utmost to replace a defective item, or we will fully refund you.

Right of Withdrawal

If the item(s) do not meet your expectations, please contact us via our email: hello@cakeservice.se within 14 days and describe your experience with the product. Cakeservice.co (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY AB) reserves the right to deny the right of withdrawal if the product has been used due to health and hygiene reasons, wear and tear, or battery consumption through use.

You always have the right to return your items within 14 days from the date the package was delivered. Return shipping costs are to be paid by the customer. To accept the return, the returned items must be in the same condition as when sold, with any seals intact. This does not apply if the items have been damaged or otherwise altered due to actions necessary to inspect them, or due to any other circumstance beyond the consumer’s control.

Cakeservice.co (THE ELECTRIC COMPANY AB) will refund the item's price as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days from the date the item was returned and received by us. Refunds will be made to your original payment method. Please note that the product must be returned unused, sealed in the original packaging, including all labels.

A handling fee for a return may apply, depending on the case. The customer will always be informed if this is the case.

Please note that the return cost will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
