For our U.S. customers: duties taxes now apply to all imports (we ship from Sweden, EU)

For our U.S. customers: duties taxes now apply to all imports (we ship from Sweden, EU)

As of August 29, 2025, the United States has ended the $800 “de minimis” duty-free rule. All imports—no matter the value—are now subject to U.S. duties, taxes, and fees.

We ship all orders from Sweden (European Union), which means your parcel will be treated as an EU import when it enters the U.S.

We believe this move is extremely unfortunate for all especially for our valued US based customers.

What this means for your order

  • Duties & taxes on every shipment. U.S. Customs (CBP) will now assess charges on all incoming packages, regardless of order value.

  • Express couriers only. We ship exclusively with DHL, UPS, and FedEx, and these carriers apply percentage-based duties at clearance.

  • EU origin tariffs. Under the current U.S.–EU trade framework, many EU-origin goods face a general tariff of up to 15%, unless a product-specific rate applies.

  • Typical for our goods. Most of our shipments fall under HS code 8714.10.9090 (motorcycle parts), which usually carries a duty of about 3–4%. However, U.S. Customs has the final say on classification, and some goods may be assessed under higher rates.

  • Who collects the charges? Your courier will typically contact you to pay duties and taxes before delivery. Carriers may also add a customs handling fee, and some U.S. states may apply local taxes.

⚠️ Important note ⚠️

Tariff rates can vary depending on product classification, material composition, and U.S. Customs’ decision.

👉 It is the customer’s responsibility to verify the final tariff for their order.
For the most accurate information, please consult the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule or a licensed customs broker.

In summary (we ship from Sweden, EU)

  • All orders are imports into the U.S. and now incur duties/taxes (the $800 de minimis is suspended).

  • U.S.–EU framework: The U.S. currently applies an all-inclusive tariff ceiling of up to 15% on most EU-origin goods (separate exceptions like metals can be higher).

  • Our typical products (motorcycle parts, HS 8714.10.x): Usually assessed at a low single-digit HTS rate (around 3–4%), but CBP decides at entry based on the exact classification.

  • Bottom line: Duties, taxes, and any carrier fees are the customer’s responsibility, and your courier (DHL/UPS/FedEx) will collect them before delivery.

  • Please verify: Final tariffs can change and depend on classification; customers must check the final rate through the HTSUS or a licensed customs broker.
